AQUAMAC intends to reforce the technical knowledge related to the quantity of available resources and to deepen the optimal practices of management of the water integral cycle to the development, of appropriate models that gather the principles of recovery of costs, efficient allocation of resources and emanated prevention of contamination of the Water Director Marco 2000/60/CE. Among the main attachment lines there are: Promotion of an effective, economic and environmentally sustainable management of the water, prioritizing the measurement, the control and the safety of the hydric resources, facilitating as well the use of the renewable energies in the cycles of the water and, on the other hand, the evaluation of the hydric availabilities of some zones, analysis and establishment of measures of protection, prevention and control of the contamination as much of the natural resources as of the effects of the continued use of artificial resources (reusability).
