Arena Torne Valley is a development project, which aims to stimulate a creative collaboration across all borders (society, business, organizations and individuals) in Tornedalsrådet's Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian municipalities. Cooperation will help to strengthen the common attraction throughout Torne Valley and to growth in the long term. The long-term objectives of the Arena Torne Valley are: - Forming an active network and establish regular meetings - Strive to reach a larger market for products, services and support for the Torne Valley business and cultural life - Increasing interest in visiting Torne Valley - Increasing media interest to describe what is happening in the Torne Valley - Bringing new knowledge about the interaction between culture and business - Strive to get Torne Valley expatriates to return and to get other than Torne Valley expatriates to move to the region, to work and establish businesses
