Məsləhətçi firmanın qısa təsviriThe project consists in a course on waste regulations and management in the Italian- Slovenian coastal area from Duino-Aurisina to Piran-Pirano. Both in Italy and in Slovenia the need exists to develop the professional skills of public administration staff regarding mutual awareness of existing legal provisions, forms and paperwork required by the neighbouring Country, and the structure of the institutional entities charged with the management of environmental waste-related issues. The project aims therefore to bring together in the same classroom several employees of the municipalities located along the coastal line between Duino-Aurisina to Piran-Pirano. The technical contents of the course are related to the future creation of a cross-border network in the field of waste and environmental management, that could be implemented once the interested administrations have identified which operations can be carried out according to local, regional, national and European legislation. The subjects discussed include an analysis - both for the Italian and the Slovenian side - of the legal framework on waste management as well as the planning of waste management; the roles and competences of relevant bodies and organisations; the technical requirements for waste disposal/recovery/management (urban and special waste alike) on the territory. The course ends with the creation of a working group that will continue to work on the issues of waste disposal and environmental management.
