The main objective of the project is to develop an Integral Plan to fight the invasive species of 'Camalote', also called water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes), which includes its withdrawal, by mechanical and human means, containment, control and surveillance actions for avoid dispersion, actions of joint coordination between administrations of both countries with protocols of action and minimize its reproduction, to finally achieve its eradication, in the cross-border section of the Guadiana River.
