Crisis prevention during natural disasters on the Czech-Polish border has been very timely and necessary in recent years, especially flood protection. For this region, the connecting element is the Stěnava river. It flows from Mieroszow to the Broumov area and than flows back to Poland. Currently, basic information is lacking about the flow rate in Mieroszów, an early warning system on the inflow of flood water from the Polish side is missing. The aim is to ensure the protection of property, safety and health of citizens.
