The fall of the old polluting communist industries and the EU founded sewerage projects, significantly decreased the water pollution in our countries. In a few years, when draining systems will be finished, there will be only one major polluter of our waters left: agriculture. We found that many farmers pollute ground and surface waters with fertilizers and pesticides, because of the lack of knowledge of good agricultural practices. Furthermore from 2014 the IPM (integrated pest management) will be a requirement for CAP. With the use of appropriate information farmers can decrease their environmental impact, they can produce healthier products with less pesticide residues and in the same time they raise their competitiveness. The aims are to achieve less pollution to waters in the shared water and ground water basin, exchange of best (mainly agricultural) practices learn from each other and have more educated farmers and cleaner and more competitive production in both side.
