The general goal of the project is to enlarge the tourist offer in the area by promoting good cooperation among different actors in tourism, thus enhancing the competitiveness of the area as a high-quality, interesting tourist destination with a lot to offer. Specific goals are: making an inventory of tourist resources (this activity was planned on both sides of the border); setting up a heritage path (formation and signs); setting up a database system with a network of information kiosks on the Croatian side; training tourist guides on both sides of the border; and formulating a marketing strategy and promotional material.
