The project aims at preservation of traditional techniques of folk handycraft (embroidery, pottery and cuisine) to evoke the interest amongst youngsters and communities overall in order to maintain countries’ national cultural heritage and promotion of national identity as well as development of cross-culture fusion in creation of modern approaches to boost the crafts in the framework of youth exchanges between project participants. The overall objective of the project is to carry out joint initiatives and activities regarding promotion, development and preservation of local culture among school children of the regions of Poland, Belarus and Ukraine at the cross-border area of Suwalki, Ternopil and Brest. Thanks the implementation of the project the national cultures of border areas will become widespread among the participants of the project. All the participants of the program along with their regional and local communities will benefit from creation of the embroidery art studios, conducting workshops and master classes by engaging experts and specialists in the field. The established trilateral cultural dialogue will lead to intensification of preservation, promotion and development of local culture among the youth. The cross-border approach of the project is the basis for cross-border cooperation of the three countries in the sphere of education and culture.
