The project was aimed at increasing the possibilities to react in case of accidents and emergencies on the Polish-Russian and the Lithuanian-Russian border terrain. The crisis management centre was established in Gorowo Ilaweckie, strongly co-operating with the life-saving services in Vilkaviskis (Lithuania) and Bagrationovsk (Russia). Also, the joint trainings of the firemen from all three countries were organised and the leaflet on first-aid in case of emergency was published and disseminated.
