The project aims at common improvement of attractiveness and competitiveness of the Kaliningrad region and the North-East Poland regions by cycle routes integrated and connected to EuroVelo network with a view of promoting local culture, preserving and using sustainably historical, natural and cultural heritage as well as raising tourist inflow. The project includes creation of a common cycle path in the territory of the Kaliningrad Region with a total length of 34 km. The cycling route will connect three coastal towns in the Kaliningrad region (Pionersky, Zelenogradsk and Svetlogorsk). Also, a catalogue of cycle routes in the Kaliningrad region and North-East Poland will be prepared as well as the study visits will be organised. The project is directed to the inhabitants and tourists of the Kaliningrad Region and neighboring countries, including Poland. Due to construction of the cycling route on the territory of the Kaliningrad region many objects of cultural heritage located along the newly constructed cycle route will be integrated into a tourist trail as well as daily routes of local population.
