The coastal areas of the Baltic Sea are facing new challenges and pressures. The problems are often the same on the coasts and in different coastal national parks and biosphere reserves, and that is why, not only local, but also transnational cooperation and communication is needed. The main goal of the project was to strengthen the cooperation and information exchange between the protected areas in the Baltic Sea Region. However, the project also aimed at strengthening the local cooperation. The goal was to find new models for cooperation and communication and also to exchange information about the models that already exist.
