The project is aimed at monitoring, research, preservation and management of specific animal species related to river shores. These species are so called “umbrella species” as by protecting them we also protect other endangered species. The main aim is to expand our knowledge about these species and their biotopes. We will achieve improved living conditions for these species through proper management of the biotopes. Another goals is to increase the awareness about biotopes and species that live there. Goals will be achieved by engaging with professionals, cooperation with government and public of both partners.
