Description of project goals with a statement of main activities and their cross-border aspect In order to maintain the biological diversity of the Drava region, it is important to build cross-border relations in the environmental protection sector and establish a mutual exchange of information achieved through monitoring. The primary goal of the project was to select five potential locations on the Croatian side of the Drava, under the NATURA 2000 criteria, and to use joint efforts in the development of a monitoring protocol in 15 taxa. The project started a monitoring process, published the results and implemented regular reporting to selected target groups. On the Hungarian side, projects were developed for the revitalization of 6 rivulets.
