This proposal from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, carries an extensive experience in the implementation of projects financed under the community initiative INTERREG and, in particular, The cross-border area referred to is the prefecture of Thessaloniki and the districts of southern Bulgaria adjacent to Greece. The aim of the project is the preparation of a joint course of study for post-graduate students on renewable forms of energy, farming and green-house installations and equipment, agricultural machinery/equipment and automations, and modern technology applications on issues pertaining to Agricultural engineering and constructions. The programme will target graduates of Geotechnical and polytechnic schools from Greece and Bulgaria while lectures will be delivered in English. This will be achieved through a series of actions that either alone or in direct link and synergy with each other seek to capture the peculiar characteristics of the cross-border region and enable the provision of information and the development of a jointly prepared course of study, strengthening thus cross-border cooperation.
