The project aims to deepen and develop the cross-border agency cooperation and improving co-operation network between actors in the region. The project collects data and experiences from Norway and Finland on erosion control and landscape adjustment. The project brings together material about the current state of the field, which may for example be of assistance in land use planning. The project will create experiences from different stages of the flood mapping and the maps of shooting modes between authorities. The project aims to 1) conduct a test of an existing flood protection to try to adjust it in the landscape. 2) draw up a landscape plan for Nuorgam village. 3) develop a guide in English about the construction of erosion control with related landscape adjustment in sub-arctic conditions. 4) air photograph the river and processing the images so that they can easily be used by both Governments. 5) photograph erosion objects that are mapped in the past to assess the erosion development. 6) Flood mapping of Tana river from Nuorgam to Polmak
