The project aims to promote active and sustainable use of cultural and historical heritage, i.e. Trakai Historical National Park, the manor estate in Uzutrakis (LT) and M.K. Oginski Museum Estate in Zalesse (BY). The historical cultural parks in Zalesse, and Uzutrakis will be managed during the project. Due to the large amount of visitors, it is intended to open up new spaces in Uzutrakis, and to manage the historic garden; the park in Zalesse has never been managed, only the M.K. Oginski estate has been restored. The Belarusian partner wants to take over the Trakai Historical National Park Management experience in managing historic parks. Applicants will use volunteers for parks management. Volunteer centres will be established in both countries, and volunteer camps will be organised. The idea is to exchange experiences in the implementation of initiatives for the use and promotion of cultural and historical heritage sites; to organise a joint conference; to develop the route; and to organize Plein Air and Expositios. It is planned to present the project results to the public, and to conduct free tours.
