Under the effect of globalisation, the leading enterprises of the aeronautics sector are forced to reduce the number of their suppliers. Consequently, the SMEs, and their principal sub-contractors, are subject to industrial and commercial pressures which are more and more difficult to deal with. COAST proposes to support these enterprises in the framework of the development of new commercial models with the leaders of the aeronautics market, and it is intended to develop a new marketing approach aimed at integrating international markets. The objective of the project is to integrate, within the framework of these new commercial relations, more technological and organisational innovation – and at the same time to increase the value added in the aeronautics production chain - as well as of new methods of working based on the Technologies of Information and Communication (TIC).
