CORELOG addresses the definition and operative testing of regional logistics policies and actions to be coordinated among institutional actors, responsible for policy making, financing and investment decisions, and actors related to the transport market (manufacturing companies, logistics providers, transport operators), whose supply-chain strategies and decisions strongly affect the spatial pattern and the modal split of the freight transport.CORELOG is articulated in three main phases:- As-is review and analysis phase, to understand the main drivers of supply chain management strategies of companies;- Definition of regional policy guidelines promoting logistics cooperation among private companies and coordinating different types of policies impacting on transports in regions (spatial planning, industrial, transport, logistic policies);- Implementation phase, addressing the effectiveness of the proposed policies by pilot test involving private companies, with a bottom-up approach.
