Brief description of the consultancy firmThe aim of CREACITY is to develop an attractive and quality tourist offer linked to the recovery of the fortified heritage of the Hondarribia-Bayonne-Pamplona cross border city-region. The project addresses the challenge of converting the territory, which includes these three cities, into one destination; a destination that is well-positioned to attract cultural and business tourism and that will curb deseasonalisation. To this end, it defines 4 joint strategies for the fields of Sustainable Restoration, Artistic Creation, Tourist Innovation and Promotion of Gastronomy. This cross border approach will provide the partners with a more extensive territorial dimension to produce their tourist offer. They will also be able to reach a higher degree of effectiveness and innovation based on multiplying the potential of existing assets in each city and on the hybridisation of products and experience. Local entities will be the main beneficiaries, but the population as a whole, artistic training centres, and all the companies from the tourist, cultural, heritage restoration and gastronomy sectors will also benefit. The territorial approach of cross border city-region that has been adopted is, in itself, something very new for the three cities. Furthermore, the project will implement some innovative products, such as the artistic experimentation centre of Pamplona, ICT-based tourist tools , the participation project 2.0 on expression of tourist experiences, etc.
