Lyhyt kuvaus konsulttiyrityksestäThe purpose of the project is the promotion of cross-border cooperation in the field of eco-sustainable tourism, in order to enhance the knowledge and to educate about the naturalistic, historical and cultural heritage of the territory in the municipality of Morsano al Tagliamento. The programme promotes memory itineraries along and across the riverways to foster an environment-friendly, slow (nautical, cycling-pedestrian) mobility mainly in rural milieus. The first stage of the project consists of the cataloguing of naturalistic sites, as well as of the cultural, historical and artistic heritage and of typical products. The sites will then be associated to cycling-tourist itineraries, that by means of the GIS (Geographic information system) can be on CD-Rom and on-line. During the second stage, necessary infrastructures will be designed together with a series of actions aiming at the adjustment and the consolidation of a cycling track, between Mussons and S. Paolo, to recreate a historical river crossing itinerary on the Tagliamento river. Mooring points will be renovated on both sides of the river and a barge will be purchased to provide a ferry service to the left bank of the river at Belgrado and Camino. A ring-shaped itinerary will thus be set up and linked with the other itineraries towards the sea and towards Cordovado and the province of Pordenone. The itineraries will be equipped with signage with information on the places to visit, the naturalistic areas and the food and wine tasting points. The last stage consists of the final presentation of the project, with dedicated spaces in local TV programmes, the publication of advertising material and a twinning with the Slovenian partner for the annual “Tagliamento march”.
