The project aims at strengthening national and international cooperation between adult training institutions in Läänemaa and Varsinais-Suomi counties. Existing forms of cooperation are examined, cooperation between educational institutions expanded and benchmarking is used to distribute know-how in the related field. Information obtained during the project will be disseminated to adult training institutions and the officials of the labour office and the ministry of education during meetings and seminars and through publications and web pages. The long term goal of the cooperation is to clarify the purposes and practice of adult training and to improve its quality. At the same time the project aspires at the growth of regional and gender equality and the improvement of the preconditions of equably functioning labour market.
