The project is an alternative energy support programme. The programme proposes to employ a technical support officer and business development officer who will work as a team in promoting the production of alternative energy in the central Border area and secondly to advise business, industry and community businesses on the most efficient alternative energy systems. The technical support worker will provide the technical expertise of this team and would work with all relevant support agencies in identifying the best alternative energy solutions for businesses, community businesses and industry on a case by case basis
