The project consolidate cross-border relations through the joint development of management actions and habitat improvement taking into account the reintroduction of the Iberian Lynx and the monitoring of existing populations in Portugal and Spain; joint actions of awareness, training and involvement of the communities in the various territories of Iberian Lynx. The control and security of the territories is also one of the objectives of this project, based on the protection and substantial management of natural resources, through preventive actions against forest fires, fire risk assessment studies and implementation of fighting measures.
