Partner cities Lutsk and Lublin have an ancient common history, full of monuments of historical and cultural heritage. Unfortunately, many of them are nowadays in bad condition. Thus the project is aimed at solving the following problems: the bad condition of Chortoryiski Tower with defensive wall and Jesuits Monastery with underground cells in Lutsk and Gothic Tower in Lublin, low attractiveness of the towers, insufficient number of scientific studies and popular scientific information on the fortifications of Lublin and Lutsk in the Polish-Ukrainian information space and lack of mutual promotion of the common historical and cultural heritage. The project aims to increase the number of visitors to the Old cities of Lutsk and Lublin in 20 %. By the joint efforts of the partners it will become possible to preserve the Chortoryiski Tower with wall, the Jesuits Monastery with underground cells, which are located beneath the Jesuits Monastery in Lutsk, and the Gothic Tower in Lublin, besides open them to residents and tourists, promoting common cities culture and historical heritage. After project implementation the attractiveness of the Old cities, the number of cultural activities, carried out in these areas, the knowledge of residents and tourists about cities historical and cultural heritage, cooperation of municipal authorities and cultural, tourist institutions of Lutsk and Lublin will increase, scientific researches will be carried out. Cross-border cooperation within the project will enhance Lutsk-Lublin partnership and help to attract more tourists to the cities. Residents and visitors of both cities will participate in joint activities that will promote intercultural dialogue and joint historical and cultural heritage
