The project's aim is to harmonize the measurement systems of violent storms and rains on the involved territories, and to establish a cross-border management of the alert-system for operators (civil protection, firefighters, etc) and populations. The real-time diffusion of information through different media (web, app), thanks to shared systems of monitoring and data convergence and calculations, represents a strong added value from a cross-border civil protection point of view. Moreover, thanks to awareness raising campaigns, populations will be able to apply by themselves some life-saving operations.
