The Castle of Mytiline covers an area of approx. 60,000 square meters and it is built over a part of the ancient city. It is structured in three levels (upper, middle and lower Castle) depicting three different styles: Byzantine, gatelouziki and ottoman. The Inspectorates aim is to restore and shape sections inside the Castle in accordance with the approved study prepared by the architect/engineer Kayer.
