The project aimed to make environmental education a part of youth work in the Republic of Karelia: the objective was the creation of a non-formal model for environmental education in youth work, which, in addition to the traditional methods, would also apply cultural methods to the environmental education of the youth. The project supported the Nuokka - Environment and Cultural Project of the Karelian Youth project. Generally, the project would promote the cross-border cooperation of youth and non-governmental organisations.
