The project aims to improve the quality of surface waters in the Lower Danube region, through improved monitoring of the quality of surface waters and development of new methods of treating municipal and industrial waste waters. The project aims to increase cooperation between the research institutions from Romania and the Republic of Moldova to improve the state of environment in the Lower Danube region and increase the awareness of the target groups and final beneficiaries on the project results.
