Brief description of the consultancy firmConsidering the importance of regional aspects in collaboration between universities and business and the relevance of the latter for regional development, the improvement, promotion and consolidation of relations and collaboration in the regional framework are shared essentials for partners in the project. The partners will provide information and experience to determine the limits and barriers to collaboration, the rationale behind it and the assistance available so that comparisons can be made, enriching their experiences and receiving guidance. Overall objective / Objectif général * To promote recognition of relations between universities and business. * To take advantage of accumulated experience (RIS/RITTS) * To identify good practice that can improve regional development in three sectors: innovation, SMEs and territory; permanent training and the labour market; entrepreneurial spirit and technological enterprises * To create a forum for adopting a common approach with extensive participation and dissemination of models and systems for university / business relations, and creation of an association to give continuity to a project with a large number of members. Expected results / Résultats attendus A joint view of university / industry relations in the participating regions will be drawn from projects and the identification of good practices with a shared methodological basis, meetings, working groups, seminars, conventions, etc. By the end of the project, a virtual community will have been created which will be open to interregional debate and to professional sectors. There will also be a structure for an observatory with a methodology for research, selection and drafting. Projection at social and professional level of the importance of collaboration between universities and industry for regional development should be one of the results of this project, which is to be implemented via the portal and through promotion and communication. During the project, the first European competition for university / industry cooperation will take place, and the basis will be established for consolidating a European Association.
