SECNET
Cross-border institutional cooperation to improve port security
04/2016 - 11 CTE
Basic information
-
Brief description of the consultancy firmSECNET wants to improve the institutional ability and cross-border governance on port security, given the latter’s huge impact on security - due to its connection with the deep geopolitical instability and the risk of terrorist attacks - and on the competitiveness of the three main ports involved in the Program, since additional non-coordinated security measures often translate into a slower movement of goods, therefore making ports less attractive, which affects the economic development of the area.
