Brief description of the consultancy firmIn addition, keeping of traditional ecological knowledge is the common denominator in this cross-border cooperation. This is done by building networks, not only between research institutions, but also between local actors in different regions. The collaboration is to develop ways to actively manage the traditional ecological knowledge of local communities. The women participating in the project have a strong anchorage in the local environment in which to operate and can be seen as resources to work on traditional ecological knowledge of local actors. The aim of the gathering is to contribute to empowerment that is to become aware of their capacities and stimulate creativity. Participants can contribute to the revitalization of Sami meeting venues in the local community in which traditional knowledge and the Sami language is practiced.
