Brief description of the consultancy firmThe project entails the promotion of good practices in project design, development and implementation of a model of handicraft areas used in the three handicraft areas of Dolina, Dolina 2 and Sgonico-Zgonik, with the aim of transferring it to the Slovenian partner municipalities of Koper-Capodistria, Izola-Isola and Piran-Pirano. In this framework, URES/SDGZ (Slovenian Regional Economic Union), the inter-sector association that brings together since 1946 the entrepreneurs of the Slovenian Minority in Italy, plays a very prominent role. Specifically, the projects consists in several analyses and studies of the regulatory, juridical and financial sectors in the framework of the development of Italian and Slovenian handicraft productions. From a technical point of view a project is drawn up for the construction of a “model modular warehouse” that can be used both in Friuli Venezia Giulia and in Slovenia; furthermore an analysis is carried out on the state of the art of urbanisation in the territory destined to handicraft activities. The initiative ends with the printing of a bilingual publication entitled “Best Practices to define and develop handicraft areas in the cross-border territory” and of a bilingual and Slovene-Italian dictionary on the technical terminology used in the building sector, as well as the creation of a website where to find all the information and literature produced in the framework of the project.
