Brief description of the consultancy firmThe CARA project is a SME tailored, commercially orientated audit methodology to enable institutions and SMEs to access professional consultancy support for research and innovation-transfer projects and to encourage participation in EU research and innovation projects. This strategy will enhance the competitiveness of alpine SMEs and increase of R&D activities in the alpine region. In addition, the project will enhance the sustainability of innovation, quality control that are the key factors for successful new product development. A further objective of the project is to improvement cross-boarder participation in the 6th Framework programme. Stimulating technology and innovation co-operation between European SMEs through their participation in EU research and development programmes. Strategic analysis of the R&D policies and management of a SME to include short to medium term strategic development in the region. Integration and participation in other EU, national and regional programmes and projects.
