Nemandi er sá sem er skráður í háskóla á háskólastigi og hljóta þar akademíska þjálfun eða er í framhaldsmenntun við háskóla.

Frumkvöðull er einstaklingur sem greinir þörf á markaðnum og vinnur að því að uppfylla hana. Hugtakið, sögulega séð, hefur verið notað um einstakling sem stofnar fyrirtæki og sér hæfileikann til að uppfylla þessa tilgreindu þörf sem efnahagslegt tækifæri.

Í tölfræðilegum tilgangi skilgreina Sameinuðu þjóðirnar – með fyrirvara um aðrar skilgreiningar sem aðildarríkin gera – „ungmenni“ sem einstaklinga á aldrinum 15 til 24 ára.

Óháður vísindamaður (sögulega einnig þekktur sem heiðursmaður) er fjárhagslega sjálfstæður vísindamaður sem stundar vísindarannsóknir án beinna tengsla við opinbera stofnun eins og háskóla eða ríkisrekinn rannsóknar- og þróunarstofnun.

Að vera evrópskur ríkisborgari þýðir að svo framarlega sem þú dvelur innan landamæra sambandsins ertu aldrei "ólöglegur" og þú getur unnið og búið erlendis og ert alltaf verndaður af diplómatískum og ræðisyfirvöldum í öðrum tuttugu og sjö löndum, að undanskildum heimalandi þínu.

Rannsakandi er sá sem stundar rannsóknir, þ.e. skipulagða og kerfisbundna rannsókn á einhverju. Vísindamönnum er oft lýst sem vísindamönnum.

Í lögfræði er einstaklingur einstaklingur sem er einstaklingsbundin manneskja, aðgreind frá víðtækari flokki lögaðila, sem getur verið einkarekin eða opinber stofnun.

Kvikmyndagerðarmaður er sá sem leikstýrir eða framleiðir kvikmyndir fyrir kvikmyndahús eða sjónvarp.

Fólk sem hefur gráðu í formlegum samskiptaáætlunum (blaðamennsku, auglýsingum, útvarpi og sjónvarpi eða almannatengslum, til dæmis) eða vinnur á svæðinu.

<p>Creative Europe brings together actions supporting the European cultural and creative sectors. The general objectives of the Programme are: + to safeguard, develop and promote European cultural and linguistic diversity and heritage; + to increase the competitiveness and the economic potential of the cultural and creative sectors, in particular the audiovisual sector. </p><p>Creative Europe is the European Commission´s framework programm for support to the culture and audiovisual sectors. Following on from the prevoius Culture Programme and MEDIA programme, Creative Europe will support Europe´s cultural and creative sectors. Help the cultural and creative sectors seize the opportunities of the digital age and globalisation. Enabale the sectors to reach their potential, contributing to sustainable growth, jobs and social cohesion. </p><p>Give Europe´s culture and media sectors acess to new international opportunities, markets and audiences. Creative Europe responds to this need and will target investment where the impact will be greatest. The new programme takes account of the challenges created by globalisation and digital technologies, which are changing the ways cultural works are made, distributed and accessed, as well as transforming business models and revenue streams. These developments also create opportunities for the cultural and creative sectors. The programme seeks to help them seize these opportunities, so that they benefit from the digital shift and create more jobs and international careers. </p><p>The Creative europe programme is open to cultural and creative organisations from EU Member States, as well as non-EU countries. Subject to certain conditions EEA (European Economic AREA), Candiate/potential candiadte and ENP (European Neighbourhood Policy) countries can also participate in the programme on an equal footing with members.</p>

The programme facilitates collaboration and strengthens the impact of research and innovation in developing, supporting and implementing EU policies while tackling global challenges. It supports creating and better dispersing of excellent knowledge and technologies. It creates jobs, fully engages the EU’s talent pool, boosts economic growth, promotes industrial competitiveness and optimises investment impact within a strengthened European Research Area. Legal entities from the EU and associated countries can participate. New elements in Horizon Europe European Innovation Council: Support for innovations with potential breakthrough and disruptive nature with scale-up potential that may be too risky for private investors. This is 70% of the budget earmarked for SMEs. Missions: Sets of measures to achieve bold, inspirational and measurable goals within a set timeframe. There are 5 main mission areas as part of Horizon Europe.
