Medgyesegyháza and nine other settlements in Békés county intend to protect the natural water base of their area from environmental pollution, primarily from the contaminating materials of waste depositories requiring re-cultivation. The support provides indispensable assistance for them in the preparation of the re-cultivation plans of the waste depository site of the nine settlements. Advanced waste management is a fundamental requirement in each area, therefore it will bring a lot of progress also in this region in the processing of household and other waste, the protection of environment and improvement of the quality of life of the local residents, contributing also to a cleaner environment.
