The goal of the project is to research and present the work of Janez Akvila (Johannes Aquila), a 14th century painter and architect. The following activities were implemented during the project: one-day thematic tours to Velemer, painting colonies in the style of Janez Akvila, an exhibition of works by colony participants, tourism info-material, a DVD on attractions along the Akvila route, info-boards about attractions along the Akvila path in the villages of Velemer and Nemesnep, promotional lectures to travel agency employees and tour guides on Janez Akvila´s creative life.
