The lovers of water mills decided on a project, the purpose of which is to demonstrate on the Hungarian and Serbian stretches of the great river, that life is only possible with water. The force of the water was driving the wheels, and the miller lived in close harmony with the fisherman. Many of the ancient tools of the fishermen have long been forgotten, but there are some Danube - traditionals who would like to collect and keep these for the future generations. The Hungarians of Gombos and the Bunyevacs have tried to keep their traditions in a similar way,but many of these have long been forgotten. If the two towns,in close collaboration were to exchange their traditions, then on both the Hungarian and the Serbian side these old traditions could be excavated from the past, thereby linking real life and virtual life. The purpose of the project is to transmit the Danube customs, revitalized by the Baja Shipmill Association,by replanting the fishing skanzen presently located at the Türr István monument.
