This project undertakes a major survey on the promotional initiatives carried out in the territory concerned, in order to define a strategy to rationalize and enhance such initiatives and in order to exploit to the full their potential, for they are significant supports of the rural and territorial development. The first stage envisages the analysis of the initiatives carried out in the territory and managed by the project partner’s local administration. Then a survey shall be performed on the Venetian territory potential in terms of typical and traditional products. On completion of the analysis, the best operative strategies shall be detected, in order to enhance the initiatives at issue and to foster their role in data and information dissemination about the territory. The project concerns different kinds of initiatives, which have already been tested on the ground: the “olive harvesting feast” in Isola-Izola, the “Goose festival” in Mirano, “S. Andrea fair” in Portogruaro, “Christmas in the countryside” in Campagna Lupia and the “Radicchio festival” in Mirano. Moreover, the agricultural situation of the Livenza-Tagliamento and Brenta-Dese areas shall be studied, whilst detecting the quality products to be found in the two areas and their seasonality. The project is going to enhance the most significant activities in the area; the final results expected are the increase in the visibility of the typical products promoted by the initiatives included in the circuit and a more effective promotion of the initiatives.
