Brief description of the consultancy firmThis project involves the partners in the organization and management of an event shared by the Veneto region and Slovenia. The “Take care!” exhibition highlights the social feature that all exhibits have in common; it shows the graphic work, illustrations and photographs made by artists and designers of the two countries and analyses the way communication matches, interprets and studies social issues. This project is carried out through several stages: at first two exhibitions concerning social awareness campaigns and using the tool of printed visual communication. They will be attended by some of the most famous Italian and Slovenian advertising graphics designers. Then public meetings will be held in Venice at the A+A Gallery, with the participation of several artists. To bear witness of the continuous cooperation between the Veneto region and Slovenia, this project appears as the natural continuation of the “Manifesto!” exhibition, which was financed in the framework of Interreg II, was held in Venice two years ago during the Salone dei Beni Culturali (Exhibition of Cultural Heritage) and was devoted to non-commercial communication. Following upon the success of last exhibition, this time attention has focused on social communication, which must bear witness to the role of the rich Northeastern Italy; this area is going to be ever more integrated with Eastern Europe, and must succeed in competing not just on the economic level and on its winning lifestyles, but also on the ability to tackle and solve those problems, which inevitably, and often dramatically, upset the social order of the two geographical areas.
