This pilot project initiates the revival of voluntary marine search and rescue services in Estonia from the Eastern part of the Gulf of Finland. This project is planned to be the first step in order to organise the recruitment of volunteers as well as organising the volunteer groups (in Toila, Vihula and Lohusuu areas) and funding for their operations, establish good relations with the relevant authorities and provide volunteers with basic training in search and rescue and in navigation.
