The aim of the overall project is to develop and implement a surgical technique for orthopaedic revision surgeries, which compared to usual techniques, does not damage human tissue and has limited traumatic effect. This technique is based on Pulsation Water Jet (PJW). Within the scope of the START project WORTH, an international working team was created, a feasibility study to introduce the new technique in medical practice was prepared, and workshops for project preparation were organised. All results were incorporated into a HORIZON 2020 project proposal, which will be submitted in 2017.
