The method is to develop thematic international summer camps giving youth relevant activities with a cross-border perspective.The camps are organised to give youth the possibility of exercising their interest improve their skills and have a community with their peers in each specific topic.Organising summer camps as international/cross-border events will increase the intercultural understanding for the children/youth. Through joint activities in the camps the young people will get to know each other become friends and start cross-border people-to-people relationships. The summer camps will focus on 3 specific topics - Arts Creativity and Environmental camps. During the project period the camps will be held in Russia and Latvia respectively one in the summer 2006 and the next in summer 2007 for each topic.
