The main goal of the project is to produce studies and databases which resulted from Croatian-Hungarian cooperation and which will define the current situation and offer a complex analysis of the possibilities for sustainable development of the geographical area covered by the “Ecological Region of Podravinac. Other objectives include the design of a concept for environmentally and socially acceptable sustainable development of the cross-border region and the foundations for the strategic planning of the principles of sustainability. The final goal was to have all of the components of the complex strategic plan for sustainable development of the eco-region.
