It also builds a important part of the cultural and creative sector, which build an important economic role in the EU and also is important for other sectors like tourism and digital technologies. Research projects in this field can help to increase the quality standards for conservation and restoration of European cultural heritage and make the EU a world leader in conservation technologies, management, high quality digitisation and curation of digital heritage assets. Also it can provide the European integration and social cohesion of the multicultural population living in the EU.
